This was the first time I had ever hired a company like Austin Home Transitions, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, from the free consultation to the big reveal at the end of move-in day, they put my mind at ease. They’re professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very hardworking. They have a system which they’ve mastered, and even my many worries, questions and scatterbrained episodes of ADD couldn’t throw them off!

They came in and took my cluttered apartment with a mountain of boxes of knick-knacks, pictures, mementos, etc and planned the move, scheduled the movers, helped me sort through everything and decide what to discard, donate and recycle. Then they packed all of my items, scheduled and oversaw the movers, unpacked all of my items, and set up and decorated my new apartment. All I had to do was wait for them to call to let me know that they were finished, and then open the door and walk in and enjoy my beautifully set-up and decorated apartment! I’ll admit, it brought me to tears! Happy, grateful tears!

It was such a wonderful experience, I can’t imagine ever moving again without having Austin Home Transitions handle it for me! I highly recommend Austin Home Transitions to anyone needing to move, organize, declutter, or downsize or any combination thereof. They are well worth it!

Liz and her team are great to work with. I first worked with Liz when I was case managing a client who needed to be moved immediately. It was around the holidays but they were still willing to help out. Liz and her team ensured everything went smoothly and coordinated all aspects of the move. Liz took the time to hear what my client and family wanted to keep and set up his new “home” better than it was before. Moving is always stressful and downsizing for seniors is especially hard. Liz made the transition easy for everyone involved. I highly recommend Liz and her team. She also goes out and does a free initial assessment so you know to expect.

Liz helped my in-laws move from their apartment to an assisted living facility. A month before the move, my father-in-law was hospitalized and Liz had to move their belongings not to the planned 2 BR apartment but two separate apartments. Their new apartments were set up tastefully and retained the flavor of their old place in the agreed upon time frame. Her flexibility, attention to detail and integrity make her a joy to work with and I have recommended her to others.
