As moving professionals we will make recommendations on what we have seen works best and is the safest, but in the end you make the decision. Remember: your home, your rules.

Here are the questions most often asked:

Who decides what stays and goes?
You do! We make recommendations based on your wish list of items and create a floor plan.

What do we do with what we do not take?
We will help you downsize and then you can determine what goes to family, estate or donation. Then we will help you with all of those choices.

If Austin Home Transitions packs, how do I know where everything goes?
We use a color coded system for each box and work with you to determine the best place.

Who sets the price if I want to sell something?
You do. If you don’t know an item’s value, we can call in a professional appraiser.

Can you help us clean out our parent’s home after they have passed away and get it ready for sale?
Of course. We are happy to assist at this difficult time. See our success stories page to see before and after photos.

Can you provide references?
Absolutely! Check out our success stories page. If you would like to speak to a past client, let us know and we will make the referral.

Can you provide home organization if I am not moving?
We would love to help! We can do any size project, from garages, to closets, home office to refrigerator.

Can you install closets?
Yes. We can customize your space to make it perfect for you. We use ELFA closet system and love installing in any space.

"Recently it became apparent that my mother-in-law was unable to take care of herself alone in her home where she had lived for over fifty years. The attic had not been cleared in years, and the kitchen cabinets, pantry and closets were packed. It was daunting to think of clearing out the house and preparing it for sale. In came Elizabeth Fitzgerald who worked relentlessly to accomplish what seemed to me to be the impossible.
In two weeks time she had arranged to have the attic cleared and the contents hauled away. She arranged for an estate sale company to appraise and pick up the furniture for sale. She scheduled and supervised new carpet installation and the painting of all bedrooms and baths. Arrangements were made for needed repairs on the outside including painting the trim on the house, repairing of cracks in the patio and landscaping. After all this was completed she staged the house for sale, and it sold very quickly.
After locating a nursing facility, Elizabeth was instrumental to help set up her room including selecting artwork and photos and installing them.
